Licklist Guide to Camp Bestival

Life just got even better. It got even more exciting. And it got even bigger. And no not because pringles are on offer at Tesco. Camp Bestival is back with a thrilling line up.

This summer, Camp Bestival brings you Underworld, Clean Bandit & Kaiser Chiefs. But they’re not stopping there. Brand new family shows from The Cat in the Hat - Live and Dick vs Dom Go Wild in the Ring will also take place. Professor Green, Ella Eyre and Bob Geldof will also be performing at the festival which seems to have one of the best and most varied line-ups of 2015.

But what is Camp Bestival I hear you ask? The multi award winning festival combines family festival experiences with an action packed camping holiday – also known as a Festi-Holiday. As it’s the sister festival of Isle Of Wight’s Bestival, it’s jam packed with entertainment, cultural delights and lashings of family fun. Sounds better than a Friday night in watching Goggle box doesn’t it?

But not only is this festival fabulous for live music, it also hosts thrilling activities from soft play and circus skills to go-carts and glitter. Think sports, think performances, think fairy tales. This is your childhood dream in one weekend.

The amazing music line up is created by renowned music specialist Rob da Bank. From folk and dub to drumstep and jazz jungle, there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone. A bit like the Harvester salad cart, but better.

Amazing street food and gourmet treats are also on offer. So at this festival you can forget your tinned hotdogs with Tesco value ketchup and your cold tins of Heinz beans. This festival also has fantastic campsite facilities and not that it needs bigging up anymore, but they’re the first festival to offer reserved camping plots and the option to indulge in an array

of boutique camping. Fancy or what?

Lulworth Castle on the dramatic Jurassic Coast this 30th July – 2nd August, is the place to be and a perfect way to kick start the summer holidays!

So if you wanna join the crowds and go to the best festival this summer, then head to Bestival. http://licklist.co.uk/camp-bes tival
