These London Lasses broke onto the UKmusic scene in 2012, with the release of their first single "Love Me", featuring American rapper Travie McCoy and subsequently went on to have 4 top 20 hits, get nominated for both the BBC Sound Poll and a Brit and closed the MOBOS with TLC. With an unconventional approach to the standard girl band formula Stooshe achieved rapid success spending 6 weeks in the UK Chart top 5 with their 2nd single release 'Blackheart'. After charting in the top 40 for over 16 weeks 'Blackheart' received a nomination for "Best British single" at the 2013 Brit Awards, up against some of the biggest names in the industry such as Adele. They have previously supported Nicki Minaj and J-Lo.



The girls have taken a small hiatus to reflect, re brand and record the 2nd album. Last year Stooshe had a soft release of"LOCK DOWN" the 1st single off the sophomore album, which gained great press and public support The girls newest single "LET IT GO" hit 65 on the UK Airplay Chart and no4 in the Music Week Club Chart. The album due out later this year boast a plethora of talent including Grammy Winner Carla Marie Williams, (Beyonce) Grammy Winner Keith Harris, (Black Eyed Peas) Dr Vades (Bryson Tiller) and Brit Winner Ghostwriter (Rudimental) The sound is a natural evolution of the group, but remains true to their pop, RnB and soulful beginnings, fusing Funk and Motown with New Jack Swing. Alongside their new sound, the musical trio have grown into their own individual and unique image and style. Encompassing their street-style London roots with a sprinkling of elegance, the girls have channeled their boldness, sass and energy for their powerful musical renaissance.
