IN ART WE TRUST: SELF (OBSERVATIONS) Art Exhibition & Live Music
About this Event
The youth-led collective returns to NHAC with their third edition of IN ART WE TRUST, featuring an impressive line-up of live performances and a remarkable collection of art from both Central Saint Martins and local artists. Ambient and experimental soundscapes will be performed during the exhibition by iko and Markas Michmel. Expect an evening packed with workshops, networking, dancing and more!
The art exhibition 'SELF (OBSERVATIONS)' delves deep into the psyche of each artist, drawing inspiration from their inner landscapes rather than the external world. It explores which aspects of ourselves we choose to highlight and which we suppress, and we will examine how much truth really lies in a self-portrait. The showcase invites you to explore the profound and intimate connection between self-discovery and artistic expression, and the sometimes-uncomfortable journey it entails. As we move from the exhibition to live performances, we will question whether performing live on stage becomes a kind of a moving self-portrait in itself.
