About this Event
SURYA PRESENTS:
BLACK HAWK DOWN
BlackHawkDown is founded on a mutual love for heavy music. The debut EP, "Prefix", is a culmination of a four year long journey starting with four friends jamming in an attic to the current line up of five odd-shaped pieces which together have produced a unique, BHD-shaped unit.
BlackHawkDown brings elements of alternative metal and hard rock, into a volatile mixture that will certainly please most rock fans (JamSphere)

LEASHES
Leashes are a London-nurtured formation born in the city in 2013 with an idea to create music as heavy as eyelids of a man too tired to look for hope, and as dark and unsettling as an empty street of a ghetto in the middle of the night, but most importantly full of pure and raw emotion. An adrenalin injection made of despair, angst, anger, and thirst for freedom.
Initially a 3-piece, they became a 4-piece band by the end of 2015 and played a number of gigs in different clubs around London. Leashes are releasing their debut self-titled album on the 18th of November.

RED HOOK
Funloving go-getters Red Hook specialise in playing music and singing words simultaneously and at times, in sync. Combining harsh heavy metal riffing with various other noises to create sounds, it's no wonder critics are calling them 'a band'. https://www.facebook.com/redhookbanduk/
CARNAL ERA
Carnal Era are a 4 piece experimental hardcore band hailing from Watford. They have been showcasing their unique brand of hardcore to many audiences this year, as well as working with former SikTh vocalist Justin Hill on an upcoming EP.

HER DESPAIR
Combining elements of gothic rock, metal, doom and punk, Her Despair explore the themes of love, loss, sexuality and theology against a backdrop of music that is at times slow and sensual, at others hard and fast; encouraging the beauty in blasphemy.
