About this Event
THE TOTAL STONE ROSES + Stellify (Ian Brown tribute) + 90s Indieclub night
Northampton Picturedrome, Saturday 18th March 2017 - 9pm
Following a sell-out show 4 weeks in advance in 2016 we thought it’s about time we had the ‘Second Coming’ of the The Total Stone Roses! . The band play a 90min set of all of the best roses material including ‘She Bangs The Drums’, ‘Fools Gold’, ‘Waterfall, ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ and ‘Love Spreads’ and bring the spirit of Spike Island alive in 2016.
Throughout the last year or so, The Total Stone Roses have been playing gigs and stunning audiences throughout the country building up a solid fan base that makes them a force to be reckoned with in the tribute scene. The band are all in their early to mid-twenties, bringing the same passion, vigor, arrogance and charisma that only the young have, the old want and that cannot be faked. This same drive is what gave The Stone Roses their ‘X Factor’ and took them to the heady heights of success and fame that they achieved in the late 1980′s and early 1990′s and beyond.
The Total Stone Roses are all pro musicians that do this for a living; all players involved are top draw Leeds College of Music graduates. They strive to re-create the roses sound live and are meticulous in the recreation of their material. You will not find a better sound a like band this side of 1989!
Special guests for the evening is STELLIFY, the UKs only tribute to the one and only IAN BROWN. Stellify will be playing a selection of classic ian Brown solo tracks before the Total Stone Roses take to the stage, expect to hear tracks of Ians 6 solo albums including Dolphins were Monkeys, Stellify and F.E.A.R. This one is worth arriving early for!
Tickets are on sale priced £12 in advance, every show we have put by this stunning tribute band has SOLD OUT in advance so if you don’t want to be left out in the cold an early ticket purchase is essential – Pick tickets up online from Seetickets and pick them up in person from Spiral Archive or the venue (available locally from Monday 7th November)
This time we're going to be opening slightly later and going on slightly longer as we incorporate a classic 90s indie club night - Expect anthems!
