About this Event

‘Poetry on the Spot’ features a poetry open-mic, invited poets improvising, audience involvement, a crowd sourced poem, *awesome prizes and a point scoring system based on the block vote, the Moon cycle and a random number selecter.



Experience the expertise of these three teams of invited poets creating on the spot poems, surprise stanzas and made up metonyms all for the glory of winning the coveted 'POETRY ON THE SPOT' trophy.



Help create a crowd sourced poem that will be read out at the end of the night.



Poetry open-mic sign up from 7pm on a first come, first served basis. Poets have a maximum 5 minutes each on the mic.
