Full Line Up: Natalie INDYA West, Lilith And The Knight, Beauty for Ashes, Lightscape, No Idea UK



It's time for another Rock night over at Surya and so we're bringing together a fantastic bill of some of our favourite emerging Rockers!



Topping the evening's bill is The Indya Band. Fronted by the bewitching vocals of Natalie Indya West, this group play 80s inspired Glam Rock that really packs a punch. The band have already been featured on numerous radio stations, including Radio X recently, as well as bucket loads of great reviews, including this little gem from IndieMusicMag, "not enough music is being made like this these days". With praise like that, you'd be a fool to miss them!



After impressing promoters Absent Kelly at a previous show, Lilith & the Knight are back. Another female fronted group, Lilith & the Knight are a London based quintet that play straight up rock! With elements of classic rock, metal and punk, they serve up something fresh, but yet super catchy thanks to the enthralling vocal hooks of frontwoman, Lilith. The band have already bagged a bit of radio airplay and have played numerous well renowned underground venues The Workshop and the Underbelly, not to mention having their debut music video in the works! This band are fairly new but already have all the components they need to be huge!



Beauty for Ashes will be there too. This quintet play classic inspired rock fronted by the enrapturing vocals of frontwoman, Kornelia, giving it a Within Temptation vibe that just works. In their time together, Beauty for Ashes have had the pleasure of playing on some of the Capital's best renowned grass roots venue, including The Water Rats, 93 Feet East and 229 to name a few and we're sure they'll take Surya by storm!



If you like to be the first out of your friends with new music, then Lightscape might be the band for you. Hailing from Norwich, this five piece rock band will be sure to get heads moving with their big guitar riffs and catchy vocals, creating an atmospheric sound were sure you’ll love. The band have been busy releasing their E.P ‘Lightscape’ which was recorded at Crystal sound studios and mastered at Abbey Road Studios. Following this, the band have already picked up fans by gigging around Norwich’s local gig circuit, including The Waterfront and headlining at the Open Club room with one hell of a gig, so were expecting big things with this group and a promising year to come.



No Idea will be opening the show for us. No Idea are a Hertfordshire based trio that play fast paced, energetic and catchy-as-hell Pop Punk. The band only started playing together recently but have already picked up a loyal following in their local area after releasing their debut EP and shows at famous local venues, including The Horn, which has previously played host to huge names like A, Beans On Toast and Toploader.
