Africa Oyé is the only free live African music festival in the UK, taking place every June in the picturesque surroundings of Sefton Park in Liverpool. Having grown from humble beginnings to being the biggest African music festival in the UK, Africa Oyé is now one of the biggest in Europe and always a highlight of Liverpool's musical calender.

This year Hustle, Beaten Tracks and Madnice Marauders have teamed up for the Official Oye Afterparty with a stellar line up of DJ / production talent for a night of dancefloor grooves from across the globe. True Chicago house music soldier Jamie 3:26 makes a welcome return to Liverpool joined by a certified UK electronic music pioneer with over 30 years in the game Steve Cobby / Fila Brazillia. Expat Phil Cooper returns to Liverpool for what is now a rare UK appearance bringing his unmistakable NuNorthern Soul sounds back to the Magnet alongside label partner Ste Hodge and from 'Manchester Vibes In The Area' and the 'Roots and Culture' podcast Zacharia Soul. With Team Hustle, Beaten Tracks, No Fakin' DJs, Madnice Marauders and Mr Jonze in support there's only one place to keep the Africa Oye Vibes going after dark.
