What better way to kick off your summer then attending this two day music festival in the superly friendly West Country. Get on the hype and enjoy Eastville Park that is showing off its 8 stages of musical talent, predominantly underground music and dance, in the beautiful historic Bristol.
Love Saves the Day combines the best of the city’s thriving underground with pioneering artists from across the globe, showcasing a huge variety of different genres and musical styles in one amazing space. Hot Chip, Dizzee Rascal, Everything Everything, Stormzy and Shy FX are just a few examples of who will be partying with you alongside up and coming acts that can showcase their talent. This festival has gone from strength to strength starting as a one day festival in Castle Park back in 2012 with members of the team behind Glastonbury Dance Village’s Wow! Stage, the In Motion series and GlobalGathering, to now being a two day festival in the heart of the city.

Whether you are finishing Uni and want a weekend to celebrate or you are from Bristol and fancy a bit of a fiesta in your local park – there will be something on for you. Not many festivals have the opportunity to be in a city-centre environment where its one quick shimmy on down to all the clubs that Bristol has to offer and for public transport to be on your doorstep. So instead of camping in the middle of nowhere and feeling grotty all weekend, you can stay a few minutes away from the festival and get some well-earned rest for another day of adventures. Radisson, Hilton , Marriott and the Mercure Spa brand have all set up holiday homes right in the heart of town. All reasonably priced as well! Or if the higher star ratings worry your purse then theres always Premier Inn and Ibis to satisfy your bank account.
This Gateway to the city served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station, direct travel from London takes under two hours. Trains go four times an hour on weekdays from Paddington, and slightly less frequent on weekends.

If you're fairly local or a Bristolian yourself, you really would be a fool not to get a dose of this early summer love. If you're not that local, this Victorian city really is worth a trip to. As visitbristol say themselves "It's a city that doesn’t just buzz; it thumps!"
