Taking jazz into uncharted waters for some years by now, Inner Space is a highly cohesive ensemble, with a deepening sense of how to seize the moment and invent something together, in a set where each compositions does something different.



With Inner Space there’s a sense of 100 years of jazz history, from New Orleans to Bebop to Free, being telescoped into the present and reshaped - with reference to the Jazz masters for sure, but from a band more occupied with playing How they played than What they played.
