Le Chien Noir: A Cabaret Fundraiser for Mental Health
About this Event
With the tragic loss of one of the world's greatest clowns bringing some much-needed attention to the issue of mental health, we're throwing a party to raise funds, raise awareness and celebrate life.
So please come join us at the Bethnal Green Working Man's Club on Blue Monday - 19 January 2015 - for a night of reflection and entertainment by some of the finest artists on the scene:
* Burlesque legend Goodtime Mama Jo King
* Puppetry by the incredible Twice Shy Theatre
* The tranny with a fanny, Holestar
* The disarmingly-wonderful clown Kiki Lovechild
* Sideshow darling Snake Fervor
* The unforgettable comic burlesque of Missy Maybe
* Belly dance marvel Chilli Blush
* Mime sensation Pi the Mime
* Spoken word from the wonderful Holli Dillon
And hosted by the utterly marvellous Desmond O'Connor, with a little help from stage manager Anna Lou Larkin.
Tickets are Pay What You Can and are on sale now (link below), and why not order a poster-sized limited edition art print and a few postcards of our amazing poster while you're getting your tickets?
