Mint Festival ’17

With no shortage of festival fantasticness coming up, it’s hard to choose where to go! This is one you won’t want to miss: Mint’s returning to Leeds for its sixth run, building on the brilliance of last year. This daytime festival is set to dazzle with a stellar selection of electronic artists.

Who’s Playing?

This year’s lineup hasn’t been released yet, but with last year’s offerings including Shy FX, Skream, and Adam Beyer, we’ve got high hopes for what’s ahead!

Where to Go?

Mint takes place at The Tetley, an arts centre dedicated to all things creative. Painting, food, sculpture? All accounted for.

Tea? You’d think. We’ve got the urge for camomile, all of a sudden ...

How do I Get There?

There’s a coach service available, for anyone interested in a little pregame-on-wheels! We’ll be watching the world whizz by while we get in the festival mood.

Last Year’s Top Highlights

Last year’s visuals were nothing short of exceptional, complete with mind-bending holograms, lighting effects, and smoke shows transporting audiences to another world entirely (a world with more smoke, lights and holograms, probably).

Fans also raved about the concrete floor, which provided a satisfyingly sturdy dance floor and worked well with the music, vibrating to the beat — which is what all floors should strive for, really. And, of course, the artists. As well as those mentioned, festival-goers went wild for Ms Dynamite, Loco Dice, and Joseph Capriati. We can’t wait to see who’s showing up this year.

If you can stand the suspense, check in at http://www.mintfestival.co.uk/ — it’ll be up and running soon with ticket and venue information. See you there — we’ll have our teabags ready!
