Latest Lowdown from V Festival

The countdown for V Festival is probably on everyone who’s attending phones (jammy people). With less then 60 days to go, social media for this event is booming. Within an hour, over 55 tweets have #vfestival with people tweeting how excited they are to attend and who they can’t wait to watch.

Just last Thursday Jessie Ware tweeted about her slot at the festival and how she’s ‘Looking forward to it’. Frankie Boyle revealed that he ‘only agreed to do V Festival because he thought it was something to do with Valium’, no surprises there. Many shops are uploading to Instagram outfit inspiration for V Fest and people are excited about the weather and looking forward to the weekend (let’s hope it rains so they have an unexpected mud-fest!). All in all, social media is buzzing about the festival.

V Fest is also a place to celeb watch. Last year saw Diana Vickers brave the mud with her sandals and also Jack Whitehall bring in a few laughs in the VIP. Katherine Jenkins is a regular V Fest goer, with her salon-perfect hair we know you’re not camping in a tent Jenkins. If you do spot any celebs, don’t forget to be polite and ask for a selfie- its mandatory these days.

LunchMoney Lewis is the latest act to be announced to join the rest of the line up and it will be his first UK festival. I’m sure you’d be pleased to hear this news if you’re going- you get to belt out I GOT BILLS with him live! A new competition has launched giving someone the chance to win a slot on the line up! Sam Smith and others have tweeted about the comp, to enter you’ll need to check this site out- http://www.openmicuk.co.uk/New s/highway-to-v-festival#.VYwMW GD4tFI to be able to sing in front of 15,000 people- how insane?!

Lastly, Brooklyn Beckham has bought his own V Festival ticket to celebrate his 17th birthday. He has the most famous parents in the world but wants to be a ‘normal’ teen and pay for his own ticket with his coffee shop job money. Normal teens don’t go VIP like Mark and Michelle Keegan and Niall Horan has done. If it’s good enough for Brooklyn, it’s good enough for us, right?

Tickets are still available to party it up with the biggest celebs here http://www.vfestival.com/agent s/ starting at day tickets for £89. Don’t forget your binoculars and checklist so you can stalk away.
